200 Vegan Cakes

An Apple a Day is an exploratory series of abstractions and material explorations created through “subtle variations” of the same image in Midjourney. Each week I pick one vegan food to create 100 variations of.

For this set, I tested both a piece of cake and a full cake. The base images were created with the prompt “extravagant strawberry and vanilla ‘cake/ piece of cake’ on pastel pink background.” I then used original image references to create 100 variations of each without changing the text of the prompt. The same reference images are applied to each food in this series.
